Retail Displays with Moms and Kids in Mind
Successful retail store owners and managers will tell you one solid rule to success get to know your customers. Many business owners rely on Moms and families to come into their stores. Some smart retail store owners and managers go as far as remembering peoples names when they walk in the door. They truly like to create the atmosphere of a family store in the neighborhood that everyone shops at. These wise business owners know that the more comfortable they make their customers, the longer their customers are likely to stay in their stores.
Are You Sending Customers To Your Competitor?
Many retail store owners wind up creating retail displays that simply do not keep the needs of Moms and kids in mind. When your shoppers are Mothers with young children, it makes perfect sense to create your retail displays to cater to these customers. The last thing you need to do is accidentally alienate your best customers. Could you imagine if something about your store was frustrating to Moms and kids and they discovered a competitors store that better met their needs?
Fortunately you can easily create great retail displays with Moms and kids in mind. Even if you do not have a family yourself, putting yourself into the minds of these customers is fairly easily. Think for a moment about a Mom who has come into your store with their kids. What do you most remember about their visit? What retail displays do they always visit? What retail displays do the kids gravitate towards? What retail displays do the Mom gravitate towards? What do they end up buying? Once you start to think about these questions, you will be able to better organize your store.
What Do The Kids See?
Many of us have been in stores that put tempting items such as candy at very low levels. The original marketing behind this was that children are low to the ground, and thus, so should their most desirable items. While this is considered to be a smart marketing technique by some it is actually short-sighted. You want to market your retail displays to the one with the pocketbook or the wallet the Moms and the Dads.
I am sure you have seen children being taken out of stores crying their eyes out because their parents will not buy them the latest toy. Every parent dreads this type of interaction and sometimes it is unavoidable. But if your store sets them up for this type of experience all the time, Moms will smarten up and will simply avoid coming into your store. Just as they dont take their children into stores that have those low hanging candy displays, they will look for stores where items are displayed in retail displays attractively without upsetting their children.
This is not to say that you do not sell items to Moms and kids. Every store needs to sell items to Moms and kids. A stores retail displays will be much more successful putting hot toys and kid items at Moms eye level so she can decide if she wants her kid to play with that item. Putting items only at the kids eye level is a recipe for disaster. The Mom needs to see some of your great items as well. It is also critical that you keep expensive and fragile items up away from the reach of young kids as they simply do not understand the phrase look but do not touch.
Creating retail displays for Moms and kids is a successful marketing tool for your business. With so many of your shoppers being families, you will soon have more business from these shoppers!

Disadvantages of Teaching Your Kids Multiple Languages
There are so many advantages for a child who knows more than one language that the drawbacks are for the most part insignificant. Probably the primary drawback is the effort that must be expended by parents who have so much else on their plates. It's a real commitment to make sure your children get enough exposure to the language, especially the first child. With subsequent children it is not so hard, because they learn easily from their older siblings.
