Writer Signs Publishing Contract Promoting New Book Helping Parents Teach Their Kids Respect, Reliability and Responsibility

Redding, CA (PRWEB) November 10, 2006 -- Songwriter performance artist Jorge Arguello of Redding, California has recently signed a publishing contract with entrepreneurial publishers, Morgan James Publishing, LLC for his electronic book (e-book) "The Super Single Dad; Artfully Raising Children."

Arguello learned, through an online marketing guru who also published a book with the company taking it to #1 on the best sellers list, about the publisher and decided to submit a proposal. When founder David L. Hancock read Arguello's proposals, he contacted him and asked for a copy of the manuscript.

We asked Arguello how it transpired and he said, "I submitted some proposals and he (David L. Hancock) contacted me asking if I would send him a copy of the manuscript. He was en route to his home from Los Angeles and so I immediately sent him one so he could read it on the plane. A few weeks later I received the contract to publish it in soft-cover form and so I'm in that process right now with the company."

Arguello feels this is timely in light of the recent violence being perpetrated by our youth onto our own children. "If you look at what's happening in society today and what's on the news, you see that we have lost our young people to despair. Most of those kids never had anyone give or teach them boundaries. These despondent kids pick up weapons, walk into schools and begin slaughtering other innocent kids," Arguello says. "I believe by showering kids with love, attention and art yet providing the boundaries and discipline they require, kids grow up respecting others, being very responsible and completely reliable. These are traits we must nurture in our children and as parents it is our responsibility and duty to do exactly that."

His new book will be an extended version of his e-book located at www.supersingledads.com which was written primarily for single dads with full custody of their children but with the physical book it will include more tips and techniques all parents can use instilling the three R's all children should have; reliability, responsibility and r-e-s-p-e-c-t.

"We cannot continue the same way we have been raising our children," Arguello goes on to say, "because as you can see whatever techniques we have been using is not conducive to the three R's that I promote. Sending children to a corner or 'time out' is a waste of a lesson that should be taught and does nothing to a child but frustrate them even more. The parents I consult tell me how useless that technique is and want to know my methods. Really, the methods I teach are just old school/new school. It's a balance of what worked in the past and what works today but, it has proven successful for me with the children I've helped raise as well as my own. These techniques are effective and I show you how to make it work for you."

Arguello has reduced the price of his e-book to get it into the hands of parents but as the upgraded, soft cover version comes out he'll make it available at a special price to those that buy his e-book primer.

"It's time to take control back as a parent while still loving and artfully raising your kids. Obviously our children are telling us how disillusioned they are by murdering, pillaging and wreaking havoc on society. That's a direct response to a parents lack of focus on their children. With the formula I've developed and that has worked for me all our children can grow up to be adults that are responsible, reliable and respectful. That creates a much better world for us all."

You can get your e-book primer at www.supersingledads.com or wait for the book to come out in bookstores near you.
